A passionate and qualified Science and Maths teacher, with a Bsc in physics from King’s College London, offering chemistry, physics and mathematics up to A’Level.
Throughout her education Zahrah has been gaining experience through teaching internships (with Ogden trust) and private tuition. After completing her degree, she obtained her qualified teaching status (QTS) and PGCE (physics & mathematics) from King’s College, London.
Zahrah has spent countless hours trying to teach herself with online resources. As a result, she is someone who understands common mistakes, areas of misconceptions and how to overcome them. Her teaching style often includes videos, physical demonstrations and relatable analogies for topics being studied. She also includes time to practise questions, which will directly test the students’ application of theory. Most importantly, she aims for her pupils to solve problems smartly, recognise exam tricks and enjoy the learning process!
Zahrah enjoys many team sports, like badminton, and has found a recent love for aerial arts and yoga. When she has time, she challenges herself to cook new food and when she is feeling particularly lazy she will be watching dramas on Netflix (Breaking Bad, Prison Break, Power, HTGAWM, Suits) – you name it! Zahrah also speaks fluent Urdu.
