Safer recruitment practice and rigorous pre-employment background checks will be undertaken before any tutor is confirmed on the App. All Sophia Tutors are subject to verified reference checks and must hold a valid enhanced DBS certificate.

Through our partners at Tapoly, tutors are covered by £1 million Professional Indemnity and £2 million Public Liability Insurance Cover for all tuition sessions booked via the Sophia mobile app.

  • Step 2: Verify your details with your OTP and complete the KYC process to build your unique tutor profile.
  • Step 3: Upload your document, complete the verification process and attend an on boarding session at our Head Office. Your journey as a Sophia Tutor starts here!

Sophia enables you to be in control of where you want to work and how far you wish to travel.

  • Step 1: Use the in app mapping tool to select the areas you wish to work in.
  • Step 2: Clients can book you based on your location preferences and availability through the Sophia App.
  • Step 3: No surprises! Sophia only sends you places where you want to work. Need to change something? No problem! Our intelligent Mobile App gets to work for you straight away.

Scheduling made simple

Set your availability. Start to get bookings. It’s that simple.

  • Step 1: When you want, where you want. Sophia allows tutors to manage their availability through the in app calendar.
  • Step 2: Set your availability for up to 6 weeks (45 days in advance). Bookings are confirmed instantly.
  • Step 3: Sophia provides you with all the details you need to know. Communicate easily with clients and have access to feedback reports on your students to support with session planning.

You’re in control

Sophia is your PA when it comes to running your own private tuition business.

  • Step 1: Sophia provides you with everything you need to know, including full itineraries and detailed booking information.
  • Step 2: Easily review all of your previous bookings and track your earnings on the Sophia App.
  • Step 3: Using Stripe, payment from clients is cashless and is transferred to you at the end of your session. No more invoicing, chasing payments or awkward conversations.
